SURPRISE, AZ – Amera Pest Control’s new owner is no longer honoring the 10 year warranties its sold to hundreds of West Valley homeowners at a cost of $937. These warranties of service, which involved a yearly inspection are no longer honored by Amera’s new owner Atomic Pest Control of Mesa.
In December Atomic Pest sent letters to Amera Pest customers notifying them that Atomic Pest Control bought out Amera. The letters where accompanied by invoices for $125 per year.
Efforts by ABC-15 to reach Amera’s owner have only resulted in being referred to Atomics’ owner John Beebe, who is not returning calls. ABC-15 was able to reach an employee who stated, “We bought their assets, not their liabilities.”
We have also made great progress in the way of ground squirrels and in a lot of cases getting complete control of them with baiting plans. Ground squirrels have always been a worry on the minds of people with landscaping and irrigation, because of the damage they can do. Horse owners also share the ground squirrel worry because they make soft runs in the dirt that the horses can step through and hurt themselves.

Our offer will be to pick up the remaining part of the warranty at $50 per year, a savings of $75 a year.
